Yesterday I went to a Next Cruise with cars of the future including the GEM.
esterday we also saw a parade of police cars and emergency vehicles, some of which dated back to 1923 and maybe some were even earlier.
I love the 1950's Fairlanes, Bel Airs, and the Edsels. I also love the cars that bring back memories of old television programs. A few cars were decked out like Starsky and Hutch's car and I saw a Monkeemobile, I don't know if it is the original. I can remember Dinah Shore singing "See the USA in your Chevrolet."
What cars are your favorites?
I have had two Mustang's in my life, but my favorite car was a 1972 gold Nova. I saw one exactly like it this week.

My husband has a 1971 Datsun Z40(?) that he is fixing up.
My favorites have to be the 1963 Chevy Belairs and Impalas! Telling my age here, they are what I learned to drive on! My favorite brand of car though has to be a Buick! My parents had one of the first Buicks with a fluid drive transmission and the big plastic scoops in the back for airconditioning......when the compressor froze up, it would throw ice at us...LOL! I have had three Buicks in my lifetime and only one of them I did not love....they are usually a very well built car!
If it's an average car, my Impala will do.
If it's a sports car, I'll take a Tesla Roadster - thee electric sports car :)
Mine I guess would have to be a 65 Ford Mustang white with a red interior
Or maybe green with tan leather if I could customize
I guess my favorite car I've owned from a pure driving standpoint was my '78 Trans Am. It was fully loaded with options, T-tops, etc., and a big honking motor, LOL. It handled like a dream too.... oh for the good old days... ;-)
