Dear, there are MINOR surgeries and there are MAJOR surgeries. Never heard one categorized as 'rather major'. Whether you're down-playing or up-playing, my prayers will be with you. Best of Luck.
I always wanted to perform at least one surgery in my life. I think i could do it.
I hope all will go well. I know I'm not around here much but I'm glad I got a chance to see this post and offer my hope that everything will be just fine, as it probably will.
Viv, I watched a roommate (retired seal medic) once remove a tumor from himseld as we sat and watched a football game. He applied local anesthesia, prepped the surgical area, cut out the tumor, stitch himself up, put the tumor in a forensic bag and ship it of to the Charleston naval Hospital for tests. By the third quarter I was watching him more than the game. Guess I was hooked.
And I do believe, with an accompanying manual, I could perform a surgical procedure successfully. I just need a volunteer.
OK now I'm a rather nosy person and I'd love to know what kind of surgery you're having. But since you aren't sharing that I will just send good vibes your way.
Please, I don't want Robert to do my surgery. No offense my dear King! As for what kind of surgery, it's exploratory, and I won't know how serious until it's over. Fun?
A King's Edict for Today: All citizens of La La Land will remember the Queen this week and will offer up prayers and encouragements for her. Now, I really didn't need to make this an edict did I? You are all good people. Thank you.
Now, now, queen - I am quite skilled with a knife. And what's a knife if not a big scalpel. Just trying to lighten it up a little. I love you queen AND I love you Carol.
Carol, Archangel Raphael and his legion of healing angels both in the flesh and in spirit will be there to guide the skilled hands of the surgeons, the gentleness of the nurses, and the understanding staff that will provide excellent care for you while you recover from your surgery. May you be surrounded by caring, loving friends and family!
