Well, let's just say I was reminded of the book Licking the Sugar Habit by Nancy Appleton when I read a post yesterday about sugar being poison. I decided right then and there that I am quitting Starbuck frappachino's cold turkey. Am I giving up sugar totally? Well, as much as I can help it I will avoid refined white sugar and instead replace it with fruit sugar or natural cane sugar but no more frapps! I know that this change will help me in my goal of losing weight and feeling great!
Today I skipped breakfast.
For lunch I had a tuna and celery sandwich.
For dinner I had a turkey sandwich.
Drink of choice for the day: Agua
Sinful pleasures throughout the day: several pieces of chocolate (will be bringing box to friend's house this weekend so her whole family may enjoy)
Exercise is a hurdle I need to overcome because I started personal training over a month ago and it hurt me more than helped me. I may have fibromyalgia and am waiting for some blood test results and possibly may have to do some more testing. My muscles hurt worse from the weight training and cardio made my heart rate shoot through the roof. My personal trainer was not concerned of my health and I had to quit. Although I quit after 5 sessions I am still required to pay for the 24 sessions. How may I cancel the contract? Well, I need to be dead or totally, permanently disabled. Oh, and since I have quit and the only exercise I do is walking and housework I still have muscle pains that started from the personal training, they never went away!
Tomorrow I am shopping for more fruits and vegetables! I love those salads!
