SHRINKY DINKS do just that... SHRINK! They shrink to approximately one third (1/3) of their original size and actually become 9 times thicker. They go from looking like a piece of paper to looking like a piece of glass, it's amazing to see the difference! Simply place the Shrinky Dinks pieces that you created into an oven for 2 magical minutes and watch as your creations get smaller and smaller. It's fun, magical and so easy to do!
The kids picked out several designs, traced them and then colored them. Then we used a hole punch to punch holes in the top and bottom of each one before we placed them into the oven. Used a heavy fishing wire and beads and strung them up for a window catcher!

Looks like a ton of fun though.
Also- I use a jumbo scrapbooking punch to punch shapes and then the hole punch for the hole. They shrink down teey tiny. I did that to make little bitty tags to attach to the annual xmas ornaments we give away. It was neat because the kids handwriting shrinks exactly. Great thing to look at each year.
