Wired.com is running an article about an experiment where they judged the responses from people who watched short videos versus some people who read something. Both video and text involved something disgusting. In both cases, the reaction was very close. You might think that pictures or movies would be more stimulating, but in fact text can work just as well. Pretty interesting, if you think about it.
I suppose it lends well to the fact that when most books get made into movies, people who read the book usually say it was better.
