Thomas Jefferson My beloved Cat....Died yesterday August 13, 2008

  • Yesterday, I posted a picture of Thomas Jefferson In the basket on the Picnic Table....That will be the last picture I will ever take of him...He died yesterday August 13, 2008, I loved him dearly, and he was one of the sweetest loving cats ever...When was born 10 years ago...he was small, and really didn't expect him to live...and he did...he had a full life here on the farm, and will be greatly missed... Here are a few Photos of my beloved cat...enjoy I will miss him...

My condolences for your loss. I have a soft spot for the ginger cats. I think they're the most mellow of all.

Pets leave paw prints everywhere but the ones that last are on your heart.

i'm so sorry for your loss! i lost my beloved cat back in may . . . it can be a rough time right now. after we had to put my cat down (she was 21 and extremely ill), the technician on duty sent me a copy of this poem called "the rainbow bridge" . . . it is very comforting. you are in my thoughts and prayers!

This is no different than losing any other loved one. For months after Oscar died, I kept turning to tell him something, or seeing him out of the corner of my eye. The truth is, Buddy has taken his slot in my life, but he had to start a new slot in my heart, for Oscar's will always be there, as will your beloved Thomas's place in yours. Get a kitten, my best advice.

Oh Ellen how awful!

It's hard for people who don't have close relationships with their cats, or dogs for that matter, to understand just how much of your life this little being was a part of. Their passing leaves such a hole, doesn't it?

Look at what a rich life TJ had with you. His pictures show he's happy and content. He knew he was loved--they always do.

Ellen, I'm so sorry to read this, I feel your pain and it will pass, it will take a long time too. But just keep him close to your heart and always look at his wonderful face in those photos you have, he will always be with you watching over you until you can join him at the Rainbow Bridge. He's there with several of my babies who will take good care of him until you two can be together again.
