Book review: Black Widow by Randy Wayne White

This is one of the books about Dr. Marion Ford, Marine Biologist, ex-spook, and all round interesting guy. I've read several of these books, and enjoy them for their settings (Florida keys, mostly, but also other tiny islands), their wit, their characters, and, oh yes, their usually suspenseful mysteries! In this book, you get a gorgeous orchid filled island near ST. Lucia, pretty girls, damsels in distress, blackmail, and a *very* evil villain! You also get some archaeology, a wonderful helper for Dr. Form in the form of a retired British officer and secret agent, a fascinating discussion of mangos ...and puppy dogs (he he), sort of. Again, this is a beach book, but a quick, fun read that will make you want to grab your swimming suit, grab a boat and head off towards Key West and places beyond. Now ...where *is* that sloop, and where *are* those Margaritas??????
