WAR 100 word drabble

WAR

There is a fight for survival at the beach, a real war of the worlds.  Water rushes in, forever asking to steal away soft Sands that wait along Water's edges.  Sand retaliates, creating tiny pools to catch the water, trap Water's minions of prawn and crab.  Sun is Sand's accomplice, and without mercy boils the captured prisoners of war, leaving their dried up skeletons at Water's feet to be collected and carried home by her Waves. 

And in the distance, Seagull cry.  She, too, will join the war, march with Sand, to devour Water's armies.  It is a fight 'til the end!
