I work for a very large electronics company and we just got in these high-end, super-duper flash memory voice recorders. I've always been kinda intrigued by them, but one in particular interests me because it comes with "Naturally Speaking" software by Dragon that allows you to turn your voice recordings directly into text.
I'm a talker by nature and love to write, so something like this would be ideal for me! I seldom have time to just sit and put thoughts down on to hardcopy for either print or the like. I am considering buying one this week so that I can talk away, let the pc do all the text for me, then I can upload articles much quicker. I often have times where I can talk, talk, talk, but not write. I often have moments that I want to put into an article, but the timing to put it all down isn't there, and I forget later what I wanted to write about.
Has anyone ever done this or thought about it? I am interested in hearing results.
