I've lost somewhere around 18 lbs in the last two years only from exercising without changing my diet. Lately I've been trying to eat a little bit healthier as well, but it's hard work.
This morning I got up and spent 60 minutes on the exercise bike we have while watching television. (It's my custom to do this Tuesday - Friday.) It was a good workout, and I always feel better after doing it. I hope that I will be able to go for a walk with my husband later (mostly because I love getting out in nature with beautiful weather.)
For breakfast I had oatmeal with just a little bit of brown sugar and milk. For lunch I had a salad with fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, some cheese, and a little bit of a lean cut of steak. I had some lite balsamic dressing on top of it all. Unfortunately, I splurged a little after that and had some of a small pepsi icee. I also had some caramel creams, but I only had like 4 of those (10 in a package with the whole package being 200 calories.) For dinner we are having meatless spaghetti. It's not too bad compared to a few months ago when we would have gone out to eat for breakfast and lunch, but I know it's still not great.
Well, you know what they say. Tomorrow is another day. :)
