"A 45 year old Brooksville man was arrested Friday night and charged with attempted murder after he fired three shots from a handgun at a neighbor, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. The victim was mowing his yard at 7:30 p.m. Friday when Curtis Wesley Sanders approached on a bicycle. Police say he shot from across the road, hitting the victim twice in the left forearm and once in the right forearm. The victim was later treated at Brooksville Regional Hospital, and released. Sanders was caught half a mile from the scene. Sanders said he shot the victim in retaliation, but gave no further explanation, police reports state."
