The Most Colorful Food Market You Will Ever See!! (Part 1)

While on vacation earlier this summer in Barcelona, Spain, my husband and I walked thru the famous food market called Mercat St Josep La Boqueria. This is the most unbelievably colorful market you will ever see! I couldn't stop taking photos of the many, many beautiful stalls of fruits, vegetables, dried frutis, nuts, fish, and seafood!! So I wanted to share this incredible experience with you.

This article contains photos of the fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, and nuts. My next article will be the fish and seafood. Enjoy... but no drooling, please!

                         And you can't leave without a glass of FRESH fruit juice!!

Gorgeous colors, everything looks perfectly delicious. I would love the wrapped fruit salad, the fork is there so you can eat it now. And of course fresh juice to wash it down. Thanks for sharing this journey to the food market in Spain.

Glad you enjoyed the journey thru the food market, Bridget! Yes, aren't they clever to add the fork in the pkg of fresh fruit and the the straw in the fruit juice?! They even had bar stools here and there around the parimeter so you could sit and enjoy!!

This is an great market! Did you get a chance to stop at Pinotxo? It's a small restaurant just inside Boqueria Mercat. Their breakfasts are amazing.
