After a rather strange flight, Walker arrived safely in Canada, on Saturday August 9th. His flight was delayed an hour, and then storms caused the plane to have to circle Toronto inside a cloud with ZERO visibility for another hour. By the time he got hee I was jumping up and down.
We met at The Second Cup as planned, and had time for a quick mocha before they closed. Walker LOVES The Seond Cup as much as I do!!
He does not have a computer that travels, and really does't like the touch pad on my laptop, so he's happy to check his e-mail from the resource centre conveniently placed at the mall, on a daily basis.
We are at The Second Cup now, where I'm able to use my laptop, and he's able to relax with a magazine for a few minues. I had to pop in here to let everyone know that he landed safely, and that we are having a great time.
Yesterday he met my mother and step-dad. We had lunch at Sunset Villa where we are going to have the ceremony next week.
After spending the afternoon at The Second Cup, we got a burger at Harvey's, and headed home. Walker loves Harvey's Burgers as much as he loves Second Cup coffee. I gues that means he's going to have to come to Canada and STAY HERE!!
Evenings together in my apatment are absolutely wodeful. We love being ogether.
Today we hung around home for a bit, and then headed downtown. Walker wanted to try the hot dogs at the stand downtown, so we did. We also fed the little sparrows that hung around, and I got some great video footage.
We stopped into another place that is a unique piece of downtown Guelph. I have mentioned Capistrano Cafe in past articles. Walker and I had a mocha in there, before heading to the mall to pick up some stuff.
We are now back at The Second Cup for a bit.
We are loving our time together. We hope these two weeks never end!

Not sure if I'll be able to go back to AZ right away as money is a little tight, but we will see what can be done. What we are going to do will be to get the ball rolling so that Walker will be able to MOVE TO CANADA!!! He really likes it up here.
Probaly a few months if we start now.
That is wonderful even if only for a couple weeks. Have a great time.
Love and hugs in a plenty - S.
let us know all about the ceremony and please have someone take pics...
I hope you have a great time together and definitely post wedding pics!
I must say I think Walker needs to spend part of January or February up there before deciding to move. I know how cool snow can seem to some one who has never had to dig their way out of a six foot snow drift with no hope if it melting anytime soon! Never mind the finger and toe numbing cold of a -10° F winter day of slogging through slush and snow to get to your bus.
Then again I grew up in Winnipeg so my experience of winter was a bit extreme.
Priscilla, I'd be interested to know how you liked my home town. I was just there the first week of July myself, and enjoyed the 70 - 80 ° F days while my home in San Antonio sweltered at 99°!
