How Many people have gotten this???

This is the second in a week I have received. The first one didn't have a photo, this one does but I wrote gather with the first and this and they dumped the first. I don't care about handing out my email address, heck I'll give you my home address I don't care but this just rubs me the wrong way. Know what I mean?

I have not gotten an e-mail "yet". But I have gotten some on my articles awhile back. I reported it and they removed the person right away along with there spam.

I think we've all been getting things like this and thankfully gather is taking care of them quickly...then they just make another account tho (sigh)

Got a million of these actually! Only a couple came through gather mail though, I had already tired of just deleted. A couple of them to my other emails I actually played with for a while, and when it came down to it in the end guess it made a difference that I was female because the emails stopped and all our plans of her joining me here in my country died!!

I've got two through gather this month, tons through regular email. also win a lot of lotterys I never entered.

I used to get stuff like that in one of my regular email accounts. I opened a few and tossed them immediately. Haven't got any in my Gather email (yet).

That's insane! I got some kind of weird message from Hi5 today and I still don't know what it was about. It said to look at some guy's scrapbook, but it just had people's goofy comments. Those spammers get trickier all the time -- guess it makes life interesting, as long as they don't rip our identities (see the movie 'Dark City' for that theme)!!

Report this to gather then they will take care of the account and most likely shut it down. I got one just like this and they shut that account down.

Yeah, I'd report them to Gather. I get those in my regular email and have won a lot of lotteries that I haven't entered too.

As I said, I reported this and another that I got last week as well. The one last week has been removed, I guess they are still working on this one as I still can go to this page. LOL

Just wondering how many others get this is all.

I don't call these spammers, I call them SCAMMERS.
There is a big difference!

I just had one on gather telling me he loved me.
In my regular email I get a lot offering me a bigger penis or pictures of naked girls.
No thank you on both counts.
