I once knew a man named Jim with a silver tongue, just like Obama. He could sell anything. He got a job as a car salesman.,he made good money. This was great for a while. As Ihis wife thought that he was going to work. Came payday he didn't sell much , his pay was short.
His mother stopped by the house. We lived next door. I was sitting outside watching the children playing. She sat down and told me and his wife that he was at another woman's house in the mornings , instead of work. My heart sank for my neighbor.
I went inside my house and let them talk. I made koolaid and brought out cookies. The children came over for some and sat at the picnic table and ate them.. She had good children and my children had playmates.
I sat down and we talked about other things. Living in the country the children had lots of room to play.
Obama reminds me of this neighbor. Tell the people what they want to hear, and do what he wishes. Give people hope and promises. You don't have to make them good. Change, what change. The coins in your pocket.

The first time I saw McCain on tv I felt there was something wrong with him. The man may have had it 8 -12-or 16 years ago but whatever it is he don't have it any more. He is not as clear headed as he once was.
That leaves us with a Con or a Has been if we accept the two choices the Media and the Democrats and Republicans give us. Time to elect a third party candidate but I don't think it will happen because too many people believe the Media and think in terms of a two person choice.
too many silver tongued making promises and not just in politics
One ... McCain promised to put in conservative Supreme Court Justices.
Two ... Keep Obama out :)
Since most of us don't really want McCain, I'm afraid too many will just not vote and Obama will get in.
