I wrote this quickly because I was upset. Just make sure you read til the end.
Although you had a funny shape
I thought you were beautiful.
We spent many hours together shopping (you always knew a great deal!)
or hanging out at the house.
Sometimes people made fun of me because I spent so much time with you,
but I think they were jealous because you made me so happy.
During the times we were apart, I thought about you, and talked about you often,
boring people to tears with my stories of the fun we had together.
So....Where are you now? Did I neglect you?
Did I leave you in a shopping cart?
Please forgive me, please come back to me,
My beautiful, blue, square coupon box.
Usually I guard that box with my life, but I've been tired the past week. I had about a hundred dollars of good coupons in that box. Some were for FREE products that I got from writing to manufacturers. I haven't used it in about a week, and today I cannot find it. Probably only another coupon queen would understand my anguish.

Okay, "scraper" might be stretching it, but I couldn't think of anything else you'd buy at the grocery story that would rhyme with "paper".... Thought I'd commiserate with you in rhyme. So sorry for your loss!

that was, what, two years ago...and i haven't been able to force myself to start over.
it's a matter of principle, i think.
I had to laugh when I read it but I know its not funny at all.....been there done that and it's heartbreaking.
