I live in the Lake Anna Virginia area. Lake Anna is an inland lake which serves as a cooling resevoir for Lake Anna Nuclear Power plant. This is part of Dominion Electric. Lake Anns is the second largest lake in Virginia supassed only by Smith Mountain Lake.
Lake Anna features 3 marinas, as well as a state park which has a public beach as wells as fishing pavilions, hiking trails, a picnic area and a concessions stand.
Lake Anna has beautiful, clear water and offers a variety of fishing, swimming and boating opportunties. Some of the fish that make their home in Lake Anna are bass:
both largemouth and smallmouth, carp and bluegills. Some of the animals that have been spotted aroind the lake area are heron, egrets, squirrels, deer and fox. Wild turkeys and pheasants also make their home in the area.
The lake area boasts a fulltime population of around 8,000 residents. In the summertime the numbers swell as their are many more part time summer residents.
Many people also come from Northern Virginia for weekend visits.
The lake is a beautiful place to live or visit. Fulltime residents enjoy a peaceful, rural setting. Vistors enjoy the hustle and bustle of the summer season and a thriving lake community.

Great synopsis! By the way, I also had no idea that there were that many-full time residents, but I guess it is huge.
