Today's guest on MURDER BY 4 is Ellen Meister. She is the author of two mom lit novels, SECRET CONFESSIONS OF THE APPLEWOOD PTA and her new release, THE SMART ONE.
When asked to describe her writer's journey, Ellen replied:
"Equal parts hope and fear. It was fear that got me motivated to finally pursue the dream I had my whole adult life. I just awoke one morning with a powerful realization about my own mortality, and understood that time was slipping by."
I've read the excerpts and can't wait to get my hands on her books. Both sound like great fun to read!
\Aside from her two novels, Ellen has numerous short stories to her credit. In addition to writing, she served as editor for a literary magazine and now does public speaking about her books and other writing-related issues. She lives on Long Island with her husband and three children.
