James Christensen And John Sickels Were Charged In June
POSTED: 3:33 pm CDT July 31, 2008
A former Creston police chief and his former assistant chief accused in the rape of a woman at a country club bar have pleaded not guilty to sexual abuse charges.
James Christensen, the former chief, and John Sickels, former assistant chief, were charged in June with second-degree sexual abuse. They have been fired from the police department.
Investigators allege that Sickels raped a woman behind the bar of the Crestmoor Golf Club on April 18 while Christensen looked on.
The men entered written arraignments containing pleas of not guilty this week.
The Iowa attorney general's office is prosecuting the case at the request of the Union County attorney's office.

I Don't think the town has much to worry about as this as it probably just the normal course seeing as they work for the city .I wondered if they had a clue as to what would be happening then I thought ( they are cops Of course they do ) . I've Never spent much time around Creston as it is to far away with not a thing to cause me to want to go there .
