Today's question.....
Actually a couple questions
What was your favorite subject in high school or college and was that your best subject? Is it still your favorite subject or have your tastes changed over the years?
My favorite subject was history.
Although I always received good grades in history I seemed to excel in English and Math. I was always able to interpret the novels and poetry we read. I was also good at writing especially poetry although I never really enjoyed writing and still don't. As far as Math I think that was something I inherited from my father I still amaze my husband how quickly and accurately I can do math in my head. I do continue to love history and can't seem to get enough of it. History will always be my favorite.

Now my favorite is history or well/my ancestor's.
That was followed closely by Science, I was good at some but terrible at others like Chemistry.
LOL I could use a permanent recess
HATE math!!!
My son is a history fanatic and loves science and math...he sure didn't get any of that from me!
When I finally made it to college, I discovered I like history and I took English/Communication Skills course and studied two languages, become quite fluent in one of them and so so in the other.
I still enjoy reading history and studying languages, though I find it more difficult without having regular classes.
.
Now I do a lot of writing, play 11 instruments, and have recorded 5 albums.
So, yes,
I still enjoy those subjects.
In college, I loved my communications classes. If I had stayed in college, that's probably what I would have done. I also really like my American lit class. I was the only freshman in my class, and my professor always gave me a hard time about it, but then my work was usually the stuff he read out loud to the class! I absolutely hated my advanced English class, though. I tried everything I could to get out of it, because I didn't feel qualified (I didn't even take English as a senior, because I couldn't work it in my schedule). I was right, I wasn't qualified. The teacher expected us to have learned too many things that I had never learned and wasn't willing to work with the two of us who had no idea what she was talking about.
I'm probably an academic...I did well in all my subjects in high school (told you...nerd), but as a senior, I got the science award.
My best subject was Latin my year end average was 115% A+. I had a really incredible teacher and we learned about mythology as well.
sociology
now
christian studies
languages
religions.
Since I attended a high school for the performing arts, I'd have to say my best subjects were Performance and literature.
I'm an actress and a writer/illustrator, so I guess it stuck!
I loved to make things with my hands but pressure from the mean boys made me change to Home Ec [Yuck]
I haven't changed my favorite subjects are still History and making things with my hands.
