While sitting at the computer
And trying to write a little ditty
I often have some help
From my friend , my own sweet kitty
He is the most awesome of cats
His fur is reddish blond
He is so soft and cuddly
How could I not be fond
Of the way he follows me around
and sits upon my lap
And then when I have to get up
I hate to disturb his nap
but he seems to understand the routine
And he waits for each step I make
I think he watches over me
He wants me healthy for his sake
I don't know what I would do
If I didn't have my kitty
My husband named him Trouble
He was trying to be witty
But one day he got out the door
and couldn't find his way back in
for five weeks we couldn't find him
when he came home he was so thin
A little bit of his favorite food and some water
and a trip for exam and shots at the vet
He regained his gorgeous former self
He won't get out again, on that I'll bet
For he is my sole companion now
And he sleeps curled up at my back each night
when it is time for me to be awake
He has a clock in him set just right
Isn't he a handsome Kitty
Look at that lovely fur
And when he really wants to eat
He puts his nose in my ear to purr
And I know he's saying hey how about it
Someone has to get me food
And there's no getting away with out getting it
He eats when he's in the mood.
Love my Kitty

Nice poem and very enjoyable. It seems he has you well trained.
I like them ...but Ross doesn't
My daughter's cat Katrina, disappeared out the door and came back two months later - pregnant. A week or so later she had three kittens, two black and one tiger.
Yesterday, I helped her with a stray cat her neighbor was going to shoot. We think he is the father of the kittens. She got him into a carrier, and yesterday I helped her give him an antibiotic shot for an infected wound on his leg, and transfer him into a larger cage where he will remain until she takes him to a vet on the 19th, to be de-balled, and his injury inspected.
Our cat has been missing for 9 months.
