Summer is Setting

The sunset is a reminder of the passing of time.
A day
a season
slowly sinking away
this time gone forever from our lives.

But a new day comes with the dawn.
Each sunrise and sunset reminds us
time is not our own.
We are merely here for a little while.

Summer is coming to a close.
Another day gone
another season quickly fading away
only the memories remain.

The weather will be hot for a long while yet....but school starts for us next week 8/14 which really is the end of summer for ME!!
