If you have looked at my photos lately you may have noticed some fish photos.
My husband and five of his friends rented a charter to take them out on to lake Michigan very early in the morning.
Here is the sunset picture:

The charter costs $100 a person and all equipment is provided, the guy on the boat also baits and casts your line, and after you pull in your fish he takes it off the hook and cleans it for you.
Before the guys got on the boat all of them took some Dramanine my husband and one other guy refused, stating that they have never gotten motion sickness.
About 1/2 hour after getting on the lake my husband starts to throw up. Apparently the water was really wavy and choppy. He threw up 5 times before the ride was over and generally felt aweful for the full 4 hours. The first few times he threw up the guys were all teasing him, after the third time it just was not funny anymore.
The first fish was caught in the first half hour right before my husband threw up. Then the first and second fishes broke off the line. The fishing got pretty slow after that but then they managed to catch the two fish I have pictured.
One of them was longer than my 4 year old son.

All in all they ended up with 5 fish. The fish was split between everyone who was there. My husband did not fish, because he doesn't really like it and he was throwing up too much anyways. But he did bring home a nice peice of fish for me to cook up. It is enough to serve 2 people they also are saving some fish to have a big BBQ with, they also had some fish left from a previous fishing trip, so there should be a lot of fish to cook up for everyone, so that will be fun

I used to go on long range fishing trips out of San Diego a lot, and we would be gone for a week on the ocean.
Once I had a freind that went too, and he was sick almost the whole trip. He said after a couple of days when we were near an Island off Mexico, he seriously considered hijacking the boat and forcing the captain to let him off on the Island, ha ha. He said he was losing his mind, he felt so bad, LOL. It is a horrible feeling.....
Nice pictures, thanks.
I took a look at your fish photos, but refuse to share them with my hubby as he will want to fish with you all next time.
Hope your husband's feeling better. I had to laugh, though. We ran into choppy waters this past weekend and my new son-in-law "christened" our boat. Anyone can get seasick; hope this doesn't keep him from going out again.
