Maddie is going to be a BIG sister!!

Hey all, I know my participation on here has been lacking lately but things have been so busy with the move and all.  Then we had everyone over this past weekend to celebrate Madeline's 2nd birthday. 
Plus on top of everything else that is going on we found out right after we got here that we are expecting baby # 2!!  I have had morning or should I say all day sickness for several weeks now.   Some days it is better than others but most days it seems to never go away, and is only seeming to get worse as I get further along.

  I am 8 weeks today and due March 18, 2009!

Thursday (July31) was my birthday and I also had some bleeding which had me completely freaked out.  So we ended up spending over 5hrs in the emergency room so that I could get a scan to make sure my little bean was allright.
Thankfully everything was indeed allright and bean had a h/b of 156 and measured 7weeks2days. 

Here is a pic of my scan so you can see my little blob.  They weren't going to give me a pic, the u/s tech guy actually technically shouldn't have even told me any info about my bean because the dr's are supposed to do that, but I kept asking him a million questions so he just answered them, and was really nice.  So I decided to ask if I could get a pic too!!

Turns out I have/had 2 subchorionic hemmorages which are likely what caused the bleeding.  Which has continued off and on since then. 

My first actual dr appt is on AUg 13 so then I will get another scan to make sure everything is still going allright. 

David told his family right away since they were not going to be able to be here for Madeline's Bday, but I wanted to surprise mine, so for Madeline's Bday I made a shirt for her that said I'm the BIG sister and had her open it at her party around our friends and family!  The reactions were great!  I got them on video, so I will have to try and share that at some point too when I get it uploaded to the computer!
