This has been an amazing week at Rainbow Connections!
A week that I thought might be somewhat boring turned out to be magificent!

I was constantly surprised that people found so many beautiful "rusty" images...

Amazed that people were so inspired by rust...

Yes, I seem to have misjudged rust...
because while rust speaks of glory days long past gone.
While rust speaks of things once steeped in splendor, now past their prime.
Because, while rust can be a bit crusty...

Rust also has a very lusty nature...

And a very trusty, comforting aspect...

With each and every post, you showed me a new side of rust!

My mother-in-law, Susan D, helped Mark and I pick this week's winners. With three opinions on the table, there were a lot of ties. I think you'll agree that while there were many exceptional entries, the winners we've chosen are Cadillacs among many fine cars.
Please join me in congratulating the winners!!!

And as you all proved, a great photo subject.
