Earn a Penny: Monday, Monday (August 4, 2008)

This is in part a placeholder, because I plan on putting links to any free stuff I try to snag today in here, but we also got some free stuff today. Namely:

-- A free multi-task opener from Homescan. (Apparently, it opens bottles and pops open those difficult-to-open tab-based cans.)

-- A free sample of Nivea for Men Extreme Comfort Post Shave Balm (and a $1.00 off coupon on any further purchase from them.)

-- Two free samples of Gas-X Thin Strips (and a 50 cent off coupon on any further purchase from them.)

-- Free (orange-flavored) sample of Coromega Fish Oil Supplement (plus $12 in coupons off of further purchases.)

-- Free prayer handkerchief (and the offer by someone to pray for my finances.) Technically, this is just a snipped piece of green cloth with a label stuck to it -- anyone with a printer and a nearby craft store could make this with about one minute's work. Technically, this is more 'asking me for money' than most freebies, but since they ask for the biggest bill or check I have, and my wallet and bank account are completely empty -- they receive what they ask for.

-- Technically, this is something I picked up - my local WaWa had manufacturer's coupons for 30 cents off a 32 ounce Gatorade, and $1 off any two 16 ounce Monster drinks. I happen to know that my kids buy those when they have money, so...

Ah well. Time to go through my mail and see what freebies are claimable today.
