this is getting better,however I know it can change at any moment!Although cash is a little better,and I cant wait to get my  invite.but maybe in the mean time Ill spend some of my points for those new GC

But I havent seen anyone rant on this yet, so I HAD TO TELL

Yeppers, I was just looking at an article or post or whatever they want to call it about the changes. Pretty cool, huh?

However I think that everything at Starbucks is overpriced. I'd rather go where I can get more for my dollar. I like Target.

Word of caution- you can go back to gift cards, but once you do, you can't switch back to cash. :(

I'm on the cash option, too...and guess what? All these places accept cash! What do I need gift cards for when money is accepted everywhere...and I can buy what I want at any store I want; not just limiting myself to what Gather has to offer.

True Rob, but I find that with the gift cards I am more disciplined with what and when I spend. I am more likely to save up the GCs for the holidays or Bdays or go use them for Bdays, or heck, even spoil myself once in a while with a trip to Borders, Macy's and now Starbucks. When I get cash I am more likely to use it on bills or the girls and then its a mad dash for christmas and birthday gifts when the time comes.

I'm so excited. They are building a Target right across from me. My roomie is on the cash option, and I just joined so I'm still on gift cards, but I may just stick with them to get Target and Starbucks. I live there.

I had just read the article about it and then ran across your article! I'm so excited! I thought I only had points for a $25. gift card and then realized it was for a $50 so I just sent for a Target one. So much better than Macy's because we have a Target here and can get more for the money! Yippee! I am sooo happy! :)

Hmmmm... nifty. I still prefer cash, but it's good to see they've added Amazon.com in particular.

Sophie has a point. Which is why I'm thinking I'm not going to try for the cash option anymore. The money will just disappear with the rest of my money on bills and such. At least this way holidays, birthdays and splurges on myself are taken care of without feeling guilty. But that's only me. Cash certainly has a place!
