Life In The Fast Lane

Our oldest daughter and her family have been here for the last week and a half.  I had forgotten how much two toddlers can wear you down. LOL I did enjoy them so much and hated to see them leave.

Victoria wanted to do some things that we used to do when she was a kid at home. So we went on a couple picnics, swimming, fishing, Smokehole Caverns, Seneca Rock .  We also went to a family reunion and the West Virginia wildlife center. We hiked the 1 and 1/2 mile hike up the hill to the Seneca rock.

 

 

 

 

 

It was straight up and very dangerous to hike it. Ron got me and him a walking stick. Parker must have wanted one too because I turned around and he was carrying a large club. LOL It was heavy too.

 

I was amazed when Parker and Haley made it in one piece. LOL They walked the whole way. I am so very proud of them.

Hopefully V is doing better, -- I really believe she needed this trip to be with you and her father, when we last talked she sounded very excited about going home!!
I bet it was a lot of fun to spend with your daughter & the kids too!
