Dear Colonel George, There have been many new developments this past week in our effort to seek justice regarding Dad's case. These especially relate to holding Karl Rove accountable and restoring integrity to our judicial system.
First, the House Judiciary Committee voted to hold Karl Rove in contempt of Congress, getting us one step closer to the truth. Then, Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge John Bates ruled that former White House aides Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten, and other presidential advisors like Karl Rove, could not claim ''absolute immunity'' to avoid Congressional subpoenas.
As Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said Thursday, Judge Bates' ruling ''certainly strengthens our hand'' when it comes to compelling Karl Rove and presidential aides to testify before Congress.
Now that Judge Bates has taken away Karl Rove's flimsy excuse to try to avoid testifying, it's time for Congress to act. It's time for them to hold Karl Rove in contempt and force him to appear before the Judiciary Committee. Your voice is critical.

We are in this fight not only to secure Dad's freedom but also for the many others who have been wronged by this Administration. We want to ensure that justice falls on Karl Rove and all those who have played a crucial role in this government's corruption.

Freedom is not free. As Dad has said with increasing frequency, "If we stop protecting our rights, our rights will stop protecting us."

Who are Dana and Joseph Siegelman and who do they refer to as "dad?" Getting the truth out of Rove will be the task of the century. They might force him to testify but as the old Indian said "he speaks with a forked tongue and the truth is not in him!"
Prove it.
Answering questions by mail is not the way to do it. One can not cross examine or ask for further explanation of a letter.
Jeff, It was proven that is why he was realeased by the court.
