How to use Gather Broadcast email

Click the link and bookmark it once you're at the group's home page. (or copy and paste it to a doc on your computer, or memorize it.) But you'll need it in order to return to the group's home page in the future.

On Gather Broadcast's home page, in the left column, below the group name, owner name, invite people to the group, it says "send group mail". Click that. What comes up looks like your Gather home page email, except the ‘send to' is the group.

If you post on Gather, and would like to bring attention to your stuff, use the email.

It doesn't matter... Chats... Games... Articles... Pictures... Videos... You're new to Gather and want to let the group know... Gather Broadcast, is the place to do so.

Also, there are two ways you can help Promote the group:

(I'm still getting emails from people who went to all the trouble to click their connections from their Gather home page email, trying to draw attention to their post, (and rightfully so.))

I email this back:

Join (http://gatherbroadcast.gather.com/) if you have not already, where there is an open line of communication for all. Use the group email to get the word out on your post. With 1925 + members, (as of this updated post) you can avoid all the clicks. Only join if you do not mind receiving emails as well.

Or, you can "invite people to the group." (Icon is just above the email) Use it to invite your connections, so everyone can stay in touch with each others posting.
