We bought a Disney Princess Toddler Bed In A Box that came with a canopy, a rocking chair, and 6 bin organizer for our 18m old granddaughter for Christmas. I can say that it is worth the money, we paid for it.
We thought when we bought it that it she would use it at just naptime, this wasn't the case. From the first time, she went to lay down for a nap we haven't had any problems with her taking a nap or going at bedtime. When she is told it is bedtime, she goes, gets into bed, and waiting for her hug and kiss. She never slept through the night when she was in her crib.
Featuring a heavy plastic and metal frame, the bed is built low to the ground for easy child access and comes with side rails for safe and secure sleeping. A decal of the character appears on the headboard and footboard. The bed also uses a standard crib mattress, not included. Measures 30"L x 16.38"W x 26"H. It is recommended for children 18 mos. to 5 yrs. It holds up to 50 lbs.
We paid $119.99 for it. We were hesitant as first, but since we knew she would only be using it for a couple years we went ahead and purchased it. It isn't sturdy like a more expensive toddler bed, like the wooden bed. But it is plenty sturdy. I have sat on her bed to read to her at naptime, it hasn't wobble at all.
The head and footboards are heavy plastic and comes with a canopy. We didn't put the canopy on because we thought she was to young to be having something that had thin material hanging down off the corners of the bed which might cause safety concerns. The railings are high enough to protect your child .The bed is just the right size for your child to get in and out of bed without your assistance.
The organizer has been useful for putting her favorite stuffed animals in, it also makes picking up the room easier. The rocking chair is made of wood, my complaint with the chair is that it doesn't rock right. My granddaughter has sat in it a few times. It isn't easy to put together, my husband spent 2 hours assembling the whole thing.
I give it 4 stars out of 5. It is inexpensive, sturdy, safe, (with bedrails on each side), and a child is comfortable enough to sleep through the night.
