Anyone Else Want To Admit They Were at Barnes and Noble (or Borders) at Midnight???

Yes, I just got home. I was at Barnes and Noble for the midnight premier of Stephenie Meyer's latest book Breaking Dawn. Yes, I couldn't help myself...I HAD to go get the book...and I'm usually still up at this time anyway.

So, who else went out and bought the book at midnight? Since there were over 300 people at our Barnes and Noble, I know at least a few Gatherites were out also.

I wasn't there, but if I were waiting for a book and wanted it that much, I'd have gone out at midnight just like you did. Glad you were able to make it and get that book.

Nope, wasn't me.. I haven't read anything by her yet, but I hear she's great. I have The Host lined up on my pile as next in line to be read...I can't wait to read it.. so maybe this one will find it's way into my pile too. But, I'm not standing outside a store at midnight for anything,, not even Harry Potter... LOL Let us know how the book is!

Not me! I was at Borders earlier this afternoon and saw people lining up for wrist bands though. :) I did it for the last 2 Harry Potter books, but I've never read any of these books yet... although today I did buy "Twilight" so I shall be reading that soon, finally. haha

I saw all the people in the Barnes and Noble near us, but didn't know what was going on. I'm usually up at this time too, but I didn't go to get the book tonight.

i wasnt but then, I haven't heard of the book. Not surprising, since I am not really in bookstores much these days. I only buy school books right now, maybe someday I will get to read for fun again.

I think I was on gather..

Im unhappy with borders.. They had a sale the other day for 2 days 40% off ALL movies.. Up to 3. Well night one I tried to order 3 and the site froze up and I could not do anything and it said it was unavailabe

Night 2.. I got my 3 movies and went to check out and it only gave me like 3 dollars off the movie and for only 1 movie.. I was irritated so bad that I finaly just got off and did not mess with it!.

i was at Books a million, our only local bookstore, but i did not stay the whole time, the majority of people hanging around were kids, prolly age 13-18 and i felt out of place! im 27, and im pretty sure the book has a different meaning for me than it does the young ones! i finished mine just now, have you finished yet?

ha ha hadnt seen this article yet havent been on much but yup as you know i was there we didnt get home til 4 am. the teens seamed to love it and we went to ihop for a late night dinner we had a blast
