First New Species Of Dolphin Discovered in 50 Years !!!!

Two years ago this new species of dolphin was discovered and now scientist have DNA samples to test and examine and learn about this incredible discovery. I am constantly amazed at how many previously unknown species of plants and animals are discovered every year. I truly think that we will never know how many different species there are on this wonderful planet.

Sometimes I wonder if it isn't that they haven't been discovered before, but that they haven't existed long enough to be discovered....? That a new sub-species has developed, and that the population is now large enough to be noticed? It does seem like a new species of "something" appears fairly often in the news....
