you know what is one of the best things about gather? the more we know each other, the more we care. i have made so many friends on gather - and met some in real life. we all exchange emails, virtual hugs, and share our lives. it is glorious!
one of the benefits of publishing a website is that you can match opportunities and friends. on our travel website, we have a monthly artisan of the month, and photographer of the month. this month, we are highlighting friends from gather as both of those features (photog of the month is joel carillet, august 15th)!!
one of my oldest friends here on gather is bill's spirit. we've all been lucky enough to see his digital art floating around gather. did you also know that he's a talented painter? once i found that out, i asked him if we could feature him as artisan of the month, and our collaboration outside of gather started...
i am lucky enough to have one of his paintings grace my walls (i also have a matching pair of ludo's paintings!)...
and, i'd like to share bill's feature as our august artisan of the month, on our site.
