Now here is the twist.
I want your best bug shot, and I want your worst bug shot. one winner will be chosen from each catagory. Now I dont want you to go out and try to take a bad photo, I want honest to goodness screwed up bug shots we all have them, just when you get ready to snap the shot the bug zooms off wind blows what ever can go wrong.
The third image will be bugs in black and white. I dont want converted images I want to see them shot in b/w they look so much better that way.
you are allowed to post as many good shots are you wish
But you can only post one bad shot for the contest so its best to hold those for the last week of the contest cause once you submit one that is it.
tag images: bug contest, worst bug shot or best bug shot or bug b/w
Submit images to Crazy about bugs
deadline August 31 11:59 pm
All images must be new to gather. All images can be posted to other groups but not other contests. But a second copy of the image can be posted to another contest.
Any bug images posted already today 8/1 can be edited and added to the contest
all photos must be new to gather no reposts
as always the contest is open to anyone who has not had to be removed from the group for off topic posting. +++Panasonic dmc-tz1 lumix+++

I am also with Barbara when she says she can't see the difference between a true b&w photo and one that has been converted from color. I don't ever shoot in b&w though so I have NO experience in this but really like to learn. I'd also like to learn which b&w filters in Photoshop work best for portrait shots. Usually I just find the best looking one by trial and error but would like to get it down to more of a science if you know what I mean.
Angela -- you always hold fun contests! I hope all goes well and I'm anxious to see the submissions that will be 'flying' in. Sorry, couldn't resist. ;o)
and if you are anything like I am I know you will
And I am not talking about just the ones I have posted ;)
