I haven't been doning well. I guess I didn't get the job. I applied, and am more than qualified. The interview couldn't have gone better, but I think I've priced myself out of the market. No one wants to pay for experience and a Master's degree when they can get a young kid fresh out of school for half the pay. The sorry thing is the fresh kid is the teacher your child gets.
I feel that my days are up! I'm not going to teach anymore. This was sort of my last shot. I think I'm retired, but feeling blue.

I am sorry. There are not nearly enough teachers in our area either.
that color doesn't become you.
we like you in pink
so THINK
of a new cool thing to do...:) (private tutoring, carol? you have options,yea..)
And, there's always the writing thing.
Your voice is unique. You're quirky, amusing and fun to be around.
I love your postings about La La land, I look forward to them.
At least you have fans here!
Perhaps you might make another go of it when the economic situation improves.
Or, are you willing to take a significant cut in pay, just to be able to get back to work?
could you start for less? Show them what you got !! I know I have similar concerns everytime I think about applying at districts a little closer to home....they can't afford me now.....but I am fortunate that I love my job and don't mind the drive...
