I have a very outgoing personality. I can strike up a conversation with any type of person anywhere. I am a very confidant person which probably makes that so easy for me to do..

I can always make small talk with just about anyone. My husband is always surprised when he sees me talking to someone random. He thinks I know everyone that lives in our town, because I have no problem stopping to talk to someone when we are on our walks. A lot of the people are retired, and just want to exchange pleasantries, because they don't get out much. My toddler and I have absolutely no problem saying Hi, and interacting with them for a couple of minutes while we are out walking! There is one man that almost always comes out when we are walking by his house. He hears Elliott say hi to his dogs, so he comes out to say hi as well.
Don't know(?) I think it depends on the situation.
Great question. Because of the fields in which I've worked, I have to be outgoing and most people who have met me in that capacity would describe me as very outgoing. What they don't know is that, in my private life, I'm almost pathologically shy and always have been. I'm just a better actress than most people give me credit for.
Another, rather odd, feature of my life is that for as long as I can remember, children, the elderly, men and women from every walk of life have started conversations with me in the weirdest places and told me things about themselves and their lives that I doubt they've ever told any one else. I think I just have a secret stamp on my forehead that says, "Listener".
I do like observing and listening to others to get a sense of we would have anything in common to even initiate any "serious" conversation.
I can talk with certain people without feeling too awkward but my strong suit is simply being a bookworm,or other activities I can do bymyself.

I am very shy and quiet n person until I get to know someone.
Which probably isn't the best trait for a pastor's wife.
No one would say I'm quiet.

In the store the other day I heard a lady say her sons name.. I wanted to make sure she said what I thought so I asked.. her sons name was Brycen.. ike my son.. hah so we had to talk about that for a second..
THEN I can become more confident.
