... down in San Diego. We had a good shake awhile ago. It was a biggun up in LA and we had two fairly long shakes down here about ten seconds apart. On my desk the folders were swaying and things on my desk jumped around.
How about anyone else in cali... did you feel it?

if you are interested in knowing where our earth is moving and shaking.
Valerie, Tinch, and you all have articles on this and I'm featuring them all.
I didn't feel it up in the Bay Area. I'm glad I didn't, but like the U.S.G.S stated, the fact that it was only 7 miles deep was significant, making it felt soooo much more strongly.
Also, the BF was on a conference call with people in Fullerton and they had to hang up because they were evacuating the building!
From the reports it sounds like there wasn't too much damage.
Hope we do not get anything bigger!
Been through a lot of them over the years but happily missed the '94 Northridge quake. That one was a 6.7 and my mom lives a mile from the epicenter.
She was fine but she sure had lots of damage to her house. Hope the big one they expect doesn't happen, but it's always a good idea to be prepared.
