Birthday Camping Trip Part 5 (photo essay)

Welcome to part 5 in my series!  This year our camping trip was at Hocking Hills State Park Campground, we stayed in their group site G3.  We had a great time!

Every July I take friends and family with me on a camping trip to celebrate my birthday and several other July birthdays some of my close friends have too.  Each year is different but it is a tradition for me and I love it!  Some of the friends who went with me on the trip who are also on Gather are:

Today's essay starts off with the descent down the path to Old Man's Cave...

Still going down and down and down.....

Drake on the beautiful stone bridge.  The water bottle he is holding is full of ice water to mist any overheated hikers with.  We had a couple of bottles like these and let some of the kids carry them to help keep themselves cool.

OF course every photo essay needs at least one photo of my beautiful diva posing.... LOL

Here is a cute photo of my hubby Matt and my longtime friend Dea.  Dea has been my friend since the sixth grade years and years and years and years ago! LOL

Looking up, here is what we saw.  I love these weird shaped trees that are growing out of the cliff wall, and the sunlight was so beautiful here.

Here is a photo of Brenda lost in thought.  She is so beautiful!!! I love her cute walking stick too...
