My Venture From Home

So, this is it. Today is the day before moving day. So, needless to say, to all my Gather friends, I will be gone for a couple of days until we can get our bearings.

For those of you who may have forgotten or who haven't yet realized, I am moving with my boyfriend to go to college. We are leaving tomorrow and driving all day (maybe stopping overnight and driving again Wednesday).

So if you leave comments, or have left comments, on my material and I have not responded, I apologize. I have been preparing for the move (both mentally and physically), and this next hiatus will be caused by the move itself.

I'm a bit nervous since it's a big step, but we're really excited to be starting our life together and to be getting out from under our parents' wings. :D So, wish me luck. I'm off to pack and get ready for the adventure of my life!

Well, we made it safely, even if we did take the "scenic route" - lol! I know you are excited, and you will do great. I will be a wreck for a while after I leave you here, but I will be fine eventually, too. I am so lucky to be blessed with such a wonderful daughter as you! At least you got there safe and I have it on good authority that you and Jake are out there looking for jobs every day....papa told me. Good luck with that and moving into the dorm. Is Jake scared about living with papa and nana while you are in school. If he doesn't have a job yet??? xxoo
