Great photos. Your garden is so rich and vibrant looking and the rewards look well worth the efforts! Our garden is a jungle too, those weeds and plants pop up fast.

Thanks Rebecca! I know what you mean about the weeds. If you don't keep up on them they get as big as the plants! lol So far I have kept on top of them and what's there are pretty small.

Awesome! Your garden looks fantastic! Don't you just love it?

It will never cease to be amazed at how you can put a teensy tiny seed in the ground and end up with a plant...especially one you can eat!

Yum to the green beans! Unfortunatley I didn't have room for any.

Thanks Moggy! The mater plants look better from this distance though. Up close you can see all the damage the blight has taken on them. They have lost most of their bottom leaves. I've treated them so I'm hopping they will make it. The tops looks green and lush still. So I've got my fingers crossed. From what I've read it's from all the moisture sitting on the leaves (from all the rain we've had this year) and the large amounts of fruit on them. The fruit still good on them. So I'm crossing my fingers.

The beans are going like gang busters this year. They always do good non fail for us.

Our pepper plants were hit by somthing this year...like with your maters, the bottoms are bare but they are bushy on top..weird.

I grew the bush style beans one year and they did great, but John is stingy with the garden space and made me pull them up so he could plant more tomatoes. He likes me to can salsa every year so he plants mostly tomatoes and hot peppers. This year he did allow me one cucumber though..nice guy that he is..lol

LOL...I am usually the one manning the garden so I pick what I like. Besides Bill doesn't like tons of veggies so he doesn't care what I plant as long as there is the beans so he can have beans wrapped in bacon. His favorites..lol I'm waiting to see what the potatoes will look like. I've never tried them before and thought they would be fun this year. The bushes on top the ground look good. I keep thinking when I pull up the tators they will all be slug eaten....but we'll see. It's something different to try. :)

Your right Shannon...a jungle! I was having a real fun time trying to pick the beans today. It's a mass of green everywhere. I thought I had plenty of room when I planted to be able to walk down the rows and pick..hahaha...there's no room now.

I used to have a wonderful garden but moved to the home of my dreams in the woods. I love my woods but miss the sunny spot for a garden, Lovely photos.
