The new X-Files movie is a big bore

I am a fan of The X-Files and thought the first movie was great, but this latest one is a boring mess. Most of the 'professional' critics came out saying it was just like an extended episode of the show, and I think that's a great description. This movie just isn't movie quality, and it is so devoid of anything really interesting that I expect it to be a box office bomb. You should have heard the people yawning in the theater last night! One guy even got up and walked out. My wife, who is a huge X-Files fan and owns all the DVD boxed sets, was actually depressed by how much it let her down.
