As Fox News reported:
"A Beverly Hills hotel security guard told FOXNews.com he intervened this week between a man he identified as former Sen. John Edwards and tabloid reporters who chased down the former presidential hopeful after what they're calling a rendezvous with his mistress and love child."
Sounds like a 'gotcha moment' to me. But John Edwards isn't the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party.
So is there something terribly wrong about this? Is this the kind of thing that should disqualify a man to be President?
The mainstream media doesn't really give Senator McCain enough attention. We have heard about this all week long. But I did find a news story in the right-wing media, when John McCain was the outsider of the right-wing media and they were ready to report about it---
From Newsmax.com:
"Now, however, the U.S. Veteran Dispatch, a highly respected and widely read veterans newspaper from Kinston, N.C., has published a riveting new article, "Betrayal, Deceit, Corruption, and John McCain," written by former U.S. Army Green Beret and two-tour Vietnam veteran Ted Sampley.
Among the revelations in this fascinating article: When McCain returned to the United States in 1973 after more than five years as a prisoner of war, he found his wife was a different person. Carol McCain, once a model, had been badly injured in a car wreck in 1969. The accident "left her 4 inches shorter and on crutches, and she gained a good deal of weight.
Despite her injures, she had refused to allow her POW husband to be notified about her condition, fearing that such news would not be good for him while he was being held prisoner.
But, just a couple years later, McCain, while pondering a future in politics, met Cindy Hensley, an attractive 25-year-old woman from a verywealthy politically-connected Arizona family. While still married to Carol, McCain began an adulterous relationship with Cindy. He married Cindy in May 1980 just a month after dumping his crippled wife and securing a divorce.
McCain followed his young, millionairess wife back to Arizona."
There is more information online if you would like to Google it.
I don't really think this sort of thing disqualifies anyone to be President. But then again, what about those who believe in 'family values'?
So what about that Fox? Are you following Senator McCain around? Do you support "family values" in reality or in word only.
Makes me sick.

fixed news and the enquirer???
Why do the repugnicons fear John Edwards so much?
Oh yeah he champions the little guy the folks they hate the most after minorities and homosexuals.
Give me a break.
So many people take Fox's drivel as Gospel, and thus make uniformed political decisions based on that drivel to the detriment of all.
Ronnie and Nancy Reagan seemed like they had a strong marriage, although she was wife #2 if I remember correctly.
I do not think there is a stronger or more loving marriage in any of today's political players as that of Al and Franni Franken. They are a beautiful couple and truly exemplify "family values". Al is Fox News' arch enemy #1.
Remember how Fox sued Franken over his book "Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them - a Fair and Balanced Look at the Right"? Franken won.
I will be proud to have Al Franken as the next US Senator from Minnesota.
Here's more recent news concerning Fox "News":
This from MoveOn.org:
Big news! Your petition signature telling FOX to stop their racist smears against the Obamas had a really exciting day on Wednesday. Here's what happened:
1:00 p.m. Your signature was printed off at a New York City Kinko's along with 620,126 others—filling 19 big boxes.
2:00 p.m. The signatures were piled in front of FOX's national headquarters at 6th Avenue and 48th Street.
3:15 p.m. Hip hop star Nas (whose new album had just risen to #1 on the Billboard charts hours earlier) joined over 100 activists and delivered the petitions to FOX on behalf of ColorOfChange, MoveOn, and Brave New Films.
3:30 p.m. FOX refused to accept the petitions. (Sometimes, the truth hurts.)
4:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m. News of FOX's racism and the star-studded petition delivery made its way around the world—with stories in Rolling Stone, Billboard, USA Today, Associated Press, Reuters, India Express, Huffington Post, MTV, OpenLeft, and over 200 other places.
11:30 p.m. Stephen Colbert welcomed Nas as his guest on the Colbert Report and dedicated over half of his show to FOX's racism. The boxes containing our signatures were stacked prominently on Colbert's set in place of his normal interview table and chairs—and he conducted the entire interview surrounded by petitions! Then, Nas performed his new song "Sly Fox," which is all about FOX's racism.
12:00 a.m. Several MoveOn staffers, jaws dropped open, get on the phone and engage in several rounds of, "Wow!" :)
Since then, the news has kept spreading around the world. You sent a message to FOX, and that message was very much received!
And the fight's not over. We'll continue to push back together against FOX's racism and their smears against Obama. But for now, enjoy the video of Wednesday's petition delivery—led by our friends at ColorOfChange—and the video of Colbert. Both videos are at this link:

Fox News should be taken off the air as a disseminator of hate speech and propaganda. They do a tremendous disservice to this country and should be vilified and exposed at every opportunity.
I disagree, but they should NOT be allowed to carry the banner of a news organization, because they are most assuredly not. They should be mandated to make the disclaimer that they are a rightwing propaganda network, and nothing more. There's a very good reason why Fox viewers have been found to be the most ignorant persons in the country.
No. Not unless he has used his "fidelity" as a campaign point or criticized others for doing what he does, and then only because it points to his hypocrisy and dishonesty. Presidents should be allowed a private, personal life and not held to anyone's antiquated or religious restrictions.
I agree with Clark regarding FOX: "They should be mandated to make the disclaimer that they are a rightwing propaganda network, and nothing more."
I have to say that even watching Jon Stewart make fun of them is embarrassing sometimes. I can't believe that the American public is THAT stupid...or gullible. But, then there are the people who despite the actions of John McCain over the past few months still say they will vote for him. Go figure.
I agree with you. Taking Fox off the air would be contrary to free speech and the disclaimer idea is appropriate and much desired.
Let the cooler heads prevail! I need to take a dip in the pool.
It's not the offense that will nail ya', it's the cover up.
Morals and honesty DO count for some of us. The man showed a lack of common sense and a disregard for, not only his family, but for the Party he was representing in his run for President. That shows a gross lack of judgement. That DOES count in a potential leader, regardless of Party affiliation.
My, someone's hemorrhoids must be acting up again! May I suggest cooling bath, dear?
We have no idea what went on in John McCain's marriage 30 years ago. After 5 years as a PoW, who knows what kind of rifts may have formed in their relationship.
