Actually it's a bit of a recycled one.
I am back to reading magazines. Well, skimming through them. I read what I want, clip articles and images I want, then junk them.
For the past few years I've been receiving MANY magazines. I somehow got on a free e-mailing list to get magazines. Most of them I'd ordered for work - something else for the students to read and get interested in. I shared them with other teachers who might be interested in specific ones- Opera News, Baseball Digest, Mujer and Latina, Art in America, etc.
Some magazines came to the house Interview (and this is NOT one to share with the students), MAD (yes, it's pretty much the same), etc.
They have a habit of piling up - rapidly. Some were weeklies!
So, this summer, I am back to taking magazines with me when I go out and only reading books at home. That way, during the day I can lighten my load by discarding what I don't want from the mags.
At three or four magazines a day - it'll take a while, but there will be more space... the new frontier.
