Fail-Safe Mechanism

I’m always wondering about the big “whys” of life, one of which is God experiencing life through us. My experience of God has been one of complete unconditional love and supreme wisdom and knowledge. When I look out at people I often see dumbness and ignorance. How can this be God? I often have heard that what we see in others is our own reflection. Okay, I’ll definitely admit to my own dumbness and ignorance.

Is it the ego that is so dumb and ignorant? If God were indeed delving into the human experience through His/Her creation, dumbness and ignorance would certainly play a big factor. Amnesia would also play a big factor. How could God experience everything God is not other than through amnesia? The soul knows, the ego doesn’t.

Masters have told us that God is in all. We are created in God’s image. The spark within us that holds God’s image in less transcendent terms must be God’s fail-safe mechanism.

This is the musings of one who is struggling through the dumbness and ignorance.

I don't believe that humans reflect God's image. I do believe that God exists inside everyone, including those who don't know it or care.

We each have the opportunity to learn, grow, share and become one with the divine through our experiences, challenges and opportunities in life. It would make sense that it would take more than one lifetime to learn our lessons. I don't believe geniuses or saints just "happened to" have been endowed with their gifts. Didn't Jesus say, "Ye are gods"? Meaning we all have the opportunity to become like Jesus, like a god. It may take a while, lol!

Well, I personally don't believe that God exists inside of everyone... You just have to look around at humanity to disprove that one. God existed inside Hitler? I think not.
