I do not if anyone has posted a review of this book but boy! it was fantastic. I stayed up until 11:30 last night finishing it and I have to be up at 5 AM!!!
Twilight by Stephanie Meyers is a lushly romantic, and enthralling tale of a young woman named Bella, who has come to live with her father in the small town of Forks, Washington. Forks hasn't much to offer until Bella meets Edward. Edward is beautiful, angelic, and everything Bella has ever wanted, only there is one problem - Edward is a vampire! This tale wraps around the idea of impossible love against all odds and shows that where there is a will there is a way.
What I greatly enjoyed about the novel was Ms. Meyers ability to take you back to that time in your life when everything was new and exciting. Before moving to Indiana I lived off the coast of Oregon and her detailed setting in the North Olympic Pennisula of Washington completely overwhelmed me of memories of those misty beaches, and hazy rainy days. It reminded me of what is was like that first time I ever had those passionate, overwhelming feelings for a boy, and how hopelessly it could fall apart at the seams making me forget everything else that should have been important.
To me this is what a story should do - entertain, and at the same time make you reflect about what it has made your life what it is today. Remind you of your youth, whether it is a distant or not so distant memory. It made me feel young again to read it, and euphoric when I remembered that first kiss, that first embrace, that first disappointment.
A great read, and a definite must have in your library!

Great review.
Don't get me wrong I did enjoy them but I just thought they could be so much better.
