I don't want to wait
Why do I suffer?
What is my fate?
Why must I cry
And feel all alone

Thru life's end zone?
I've told you before

Life comes right at you
And throws you off course
Then you go wander
Away from your source
Keep your eyes on me

Why does this happen?
Time and time again
For I truely love you
You paid for my sins.
The forces surround you
Are misunderstood
From below there is evil
From above there is good.
The earth is a mix
Of Heaven and Hell
Each will make their choices
Where forever they'll dwell.
The overcomers
Will rise at the end
For they overcame
The wiles of Satan.
Draw close to me child
Wear my helmet and shield
For you are in battle
The earth is the field.
With lies and deception
Satan seeks to confuse
Turning all from my love
Using his tricks and his ruse
The prize is your soul
Where you will spend eternity
In suffering and death
Or in Heaven with me.
I'll guide and I'll lead you
Through the perils of your life
I will carry your burden
As I love you my wife.
Lord I try so hard
I get sad and in pain
Somedays I feel
Like I'm close to insane.
I set out to uplift
Sing praise to your name
But others are blind
And play their headgames.
With weeds the grass
Will rise up and grow
When the time comes
All will reap what they sow.
Have patience my child,
The time will draw near
When the truth will stand out
And you'll see very clear.
Hold on to your faith
Don't sink into despair
Just keep on believing
There's a short time to bear.
Unbelievable life
Lies up ahead
For all are still living
To the earth they are dead
I rose up to show all
What does lie beyond
And I sent the Holy Spirit
To strengthen our bond.
Feel in your soul
That this is all real
No matter life's damage
One day you will heal.
Imagine the best
Paradise that could be
Joy overwhelming
Love as great as the sea
Perfection awaits you
In a place beyond compare
Where many you love
Will all be waiting there.
Smiles on their faces
And arms stretched out wide
Forever together
You'll be by their sides.
No anger, no sin
No hurt no pain
No crying outloud
No one going insane
No troubles no woes
No worries no din
For all is made perfect
Or they don't get in.
Seek hope in the verses
Of the Bible you hold,
With my life I paid
You are part of my fold.
