Out local grocery store (Dillons, which is owned by Kroger) is again offering $5 additional off your bill for each 10 items you buy that have the special tags. Limited to $15 off in one transaction.
I bought 20 items from the lists, I will list the sale price, then the coupon I used behind that:
Tidy Cat 10 lbcat litter $2--$1 coupon
Betty Crocker cookie mix pouch $1.50--.50 coupon
3-Betty Crocker Warm Delights $2 each--.50 coupon off each
2-Lysol Cling $2 each--.50 coupon off each
3-Dove 15 oz ice cream $2 each--$1 coupon off each
Lysol All Purpose Cleaner $2--.50 coupon
Hershey's Kisses $2.50 (no coupon for these)
Soft Scrub $2.50--.50 coupon
2-Franks Hot Sauce $1.50--.50 coupon on each
Skintimate shave gel $2--.55 coupon
2-Betty Crocker fruit snacks $2 each--.50 coupon
Kroger Apple Juice $1.50 (no coupon)
Betty Crocker frosting $1.50 (no coupon)
Now, bear in mind that because of the additional money off you can take another .50 off the price of each item. Also I am fortunate to have a double coupon store so all coupons were doubled up to $1 in value.
I also bought a 2 lt of Dr Pepper (can't live without it) which was on sale for $1.34.
And, I got 6 cups of Yoplait yogurt that was marked down to .29 each for quick sale combined with a .40 coupon.
I also bought my 5 pack box of Kroger brand instant breakfast drink $2 on sale. (that's MY breakfast!)
The total cost was $18.32 so I don't think that I did bad at all. My receipt shows that between sales and coupons I saved $45.63 or 73%.
I didn't get anything of real signifigance but we are stocked now on cleaning supplies some as well as great snacks.
