Homeschool or public school?

I was just wondering about homeschool, i know my son has asked a couple of times for it but i think its more so because he thinks he wouldnt have to get up so early and thinks it would be alot easier. Just looking for other poeples opinions on homeschooling or public school...

I would suggest checking your state laws on home schools as well as finding a local group to participate with.
If you are homeschooled you are "in school" 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is no spring break, no time off for summer.
I did not have the resources to homeschool. It takes at least one parent being home and community contacts with other homeschooling parents so kids can socialize. It can be done successfully, but it is a lot of work for parents and students.

It takes a lot of work and commitment, but I think that it can be done well by conscientious parents. We're also making sure he gets exposed to different lifestyles and people so that he doesn't "grow up in a bubble".
