I Have a Date for my Surgery

I went to see the surgeon yesterday and I have a date set for my surgery.  It is going to be on August 27th.  The Dr. wants to see if they can get an earlier date, because the wireless enteroscopy camera is still stuck.  They took an x-ray and I got to see it, and yes it's still there!  (Don't panic, it's only the size of a jellybean!)  I have to go an get another x-ray on Sunday morning at the hospital to see if it has moved or not.  During the surgery they will be removing the damaged part of my small intestine, (the reason for my anemia.)  My recooperation time will be around 6 weeks.   I wrote an article about the wireless capsule enteroscopy a couple of weeks ago.  If you would like to find out more about this amazing procedure here is the link:

Good luck toyou. you are probably stronger than you think and will recover quickly. After I had my kidney removed I was up in three weeks. I wish you the best.
